preschool

Sunday School Teacher/Assistant Teacher
Preschool Substitutes/Rotational Teacher
Purpose:  Provide quality Biblical teaching for our preschoolers.  Conduct outreach with assistant teachers help (postcards, emails, phone calls, and home visits). Attend a two-hour Preschool basic training.

Helping Hands
Purpose:  To help the Sunday school teachers by comforting a child, reading a Bible story, or playing with the little ones. Approximately one hour and fifteen minutes (no planning needed).

Wednesday PM Teacher/Assistant Teacher (Babies, 1’s and 2’s).
Purpose:  Provide quality Biblical teaching for our preschoolers.  Conduct outreach with assistant teachers help (postcards, emails, phone calls, and home visits). Attend a two-hour Preschool basic training.

Storytime Leader
Purpose:  To share stories with children on a regular basis with two to five-year-old children in the Hebron Weekday Preschool classes. Summer (June, July and August) story time for preschool and early elementary age one Tuesday a month.

AWANA Leaders, Listeners, Puppeteer
AWANA Cubbies Leader (3 & 4 year olds)
Purpose:  Provide quality Biblical teaching and care for our preschoolers. A two hour Cubbies/Preschool basic training class is required.

AWANA Cubbies Listener
Purpose:  Listen to children as they recite their memory verses each week, record in each child’s book.

AWANA Cubbies Puppeteer
Purpose:  Puppets during story time each Wednesday.

Sunday AM Connect Group Teacher, Assistant Teacher
Purpose:  Guide a group of children in Bible study, learning activities, outreach and class ministry.  Works as part of a team.

Special Needs Teacher
Purpose:  Teaching God’s Word to special needs children, as part of a team; deals with various needs, various ages.

Children's Worship Leader
Purpose: Lead or assist worship in our children's church environments, KingsTown
(Grades K - 2) and RockiTown (Grades 3 - 5). Game times, scripture memory activities,
song leading, lesson teaching. Works as part of a Worship Team.

Respite Assistant
Purpose: Provide care for children with special needs once a month from 5 - 9 PM
so parents or caregivers can take a break.

CR4Kids Leader
Purpose: Spend time with children who are coping with crises or trauma in the home
such as: divorce, death, alcohol & drug abuse, etc.

AWANA Leaders, Listeners, Secretaries
Sparks (K - grade 2)
T & T (grades 3 - 6)
Trek (grades 7 - 12)

Awana Leader
Purpose:  Responsible for running a color team of a particular club.  One time basic training required.

Listener
Purpose:  Listen to and sign off on verses children memorize, explain verses they don’t understand; materials will be provided to help you explain.

Secretary
Purpose:  Keep club records on Wednesday night, including attendance, awards and supplies.

AWANA Game Director
Purpose:  Oversee game time around a game circle in the gym.

Bus Ministry
Driver for Sunday AM
Purpose:  Drive bus to pick up children for church on Sundays. A CDL license with passenger endorsement is required.

Assistants/Secretary
Purpose:  Responsible for keeping attendance on a bus route, keep up with name tags/labels for all riders.

Children’s Escort
Purpose:  Assist in delivering children from buses to their classrooms.  Possibly assist in returning children from their classroom to the buses. Thirty minutes per week.

Breakfast Helper
Purpose:  Assist in serving breakfast to elementary or older student bus riders, one hour per week.

Choirs
Class Directors/Helpers
Purpose:  To be in charge and carry out weekly rehearsals for each choir. Musical background is helpful but does not have to be extensive. Helper to assist the director.

Secretary
Purpose: To keep weekly records and relay communication between staff and parents/kids.  No musical background needed.

Set Design/Props Assistant
Purpose:  To assist the Set Designer with prop and backdrop creation for the musicals.

Choreographers
Purpose: To teach a small group of children either pre-designed choreography or design a routine for a particular song.  Some dance, drill team, cheerleading, etc. background is very helpful but not required.

Sunday Morning Teachers/Co-Teachers
Purpose:  To teach, equip, and affirm students in a particular grade level each Sunday during one of our Connect Group hours.

Big Dog Discipleship Leaders
Purpose:  The Student Ministry is currently seeking adults who desire to help students grow in their faith to lead Big Dog Discipleship Groups.  These groups consist of a small group of guys that meet with one leader each week for prayer, Bible study, scripture memory and accountability.

Girls Accountability Leaders
Purpose:  The Student Ministry is currently seeking adults who desire to help students grow in their faith to lead Accountability Groups.  These groups consist of a small group of girls that meet with one leader each week for prayer, Bible study, scripture memory and accountability.

Wednesday Night Workers, Greeters, Welcome Center
Purpose:  To welcome visitors to The Studio/Cafe and help them find their way around if needed and/or stationed at various locations to greet guests.

Sports Chaplaincy Ministry
Purpose: Leading team devotions and building relationships at local high schools; along with providing support during games. We will train you, help you connect to a team and assist in resourcing the ongoing team ministry.
