What is marriage mentoring all about?
Anyone who has been married for any length of time can tell you that great marriages don't just happen. It takes commitment and it takes work to build a marriage that will stand strong against the challenges that come our way everyday.
Are you planning for marriage? Then contact us about our six-week "Preparing for Marriage" course where you will meet with one of our mentor couples once a week for six weeks.

The Purpose:
The purpose of marriage mentoring is
to lovingly invest in the preparation,
maximization, and restoration of lifelong
marriages by walking alongside
couples who are less experienced than
their mentors.
A Marriage Mentor Couple:
- Willingly shares what they know
(in a noncompetitive way).
- Represents skill, knowledge, virtue
and accomplishments because they
have gone before the couple they
are mentoring.
- Takes a personal and heartfelt interest
in the other couple’s development
and well-being.
- Offers support, challenge, patience
and enthusiasm while guiding other
couples to new levels of competence.
- Points the way and represents tangible
evidence of what another couple
can become.
- Exposes the recipients of their
mentoring to new ideas, perspectives,
and standards.
- Has more expertise in terms of
knowledge yet views themselves as
equal to those they mentor.
Our mentoring ministry will emphasize
three areas.
- Preparing - building solid
relationships for engaged and
newlywed couples
- Maximizing good marriages to
become great marriages
- Repairing marriages in crisis
You will be trained, given resources, and
guided along the way. Will you still
make mistakes? Yes. We all will. But if
you bring a genuine heart into the
process and willingly invest yourself in
another couple's life, you can’t fail.
