WHAT IS A WAM KID????
Children’s choir is more than just singing. It is a place to worship and praise the Lord to the best of your ability through the avenue of music. Thus, Hebron’s children’s choir has been renamed WAM (Worship And Music), reflecting how we should give glory to the Lord through our music.
WAM meets on Sundays, 5:00-6:00, from mid-August through November and January through April. Each week is important and we have weekly lesson plans with specific musical and spiritual objectives in mind.
Our objectives are to help children…
- grow both musically and spiritually
- discover their God-given talents and use them to the glory of the Lord Jesus Christ
- praise the Lord both privately and publicly, for their benefit and the benefit of others
our Programs
Wee Praise
Wee Praise will share their worship and music in their rooms during Parents’ Night on two occasions during the year. Parents’ Night in the fall is a great opportunity for parents to take part in the Wee Praise activities. Parents’ Night in the spring allows the children to sing their praises to the Lord and for the parents.
Praise Pals and Extreme Praise
Praise Pals and Extreme Praise will share their worship and music twice during the evening service, once in November and again in the spring of 2008.
His Kids
His Kids present two musicals during the year, one in November and another in April. As well, we will lead worship in our Sunday night services, both in October and February.
