Do you want to make lasting changes in your life? Changes that others will notice and that will change you from the inside out? All of us want to be stronger and more physically fit, but if we have any experience with diet and health programs, we know changes that stick over the months and years have to begin with character transformation. In Training for Success, you will study about Jesus Christ, the ultimate personal trainer. Each week you will study a characteristic of Christ, such as faithfulness and devotion, and will be challenged to become more like Him.
August 10-December 14 • Modular B, Room 5 • Cost: $8 for workbook
There are some very important warnings given in the book of Hebrews as well as some classic passages referring to the “great cloud of witnesses”. We will learn how Old Testament saints obtained salvation in the same way as you and me. Have you ever wondered why the Old Testament saints made sacrifices? Hebrews says that the blood of goats and bulls never atoned for sin. Learn the answer to that and many other difficult questions.
This is not a lecture class. We will encourage digging into the scriptures with many questions and discussion. You will come away from this study with a deeper knowledge of Christ and a deeper faith in Jesus.
